Sugar Cookies for Halloween

My blog has been increasing gone domestic, it just that cooking frenzy that came once in a blue moon and you can never stop until its done and over. So this week I have been busy getting ready for halloween, we have done cookies for one of the party and then with some leftover we distributed among the families and our lovely neighbor. As always, there's something about cookies that give you that broad silly grin. Everyone loves cookies!

Ingredients:
2 1/2Flour
1 1/2 cup Powder sugar
2 cup Butter (or 2 sticks)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1 egg
Method:
It is so easy I wanted to cry, you just have to soften the butter and then, mixed the whole thing up with the mixer. Once it's done, rolled out in flat sheet til it is about 1/8 inch thick. Use cookie's cutout and put it on cookie sheet for baking. Make sure you leave gap between cookies to give them room to rise.
Pre-heat oven at 375 F (about 180C) and then bake for 10-15 minutes (depends on oven size). Let the cookies cool before you start decorating them with frosting. (Refer to frosting recipe)
