Flower Cookies with Cream Cheese

Let me start by telling you why I baked this type of cookies after my success with the Red Velvet.  It's all because of the cheese, I have too much that I have to find ways to use them, what better ways then to bake cookies and compliment them with the surplus of cream cheese.

Let's start with recipe:

1 cup  butter
1 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup castor sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 sqr (1 ounce) chocolate (melted)
3 cups all purpose flour and 1/2 tsp baking soda

Cream Cheese (Refer to older post)

Mixed and combine butter, sugars well.  Beat egg and vanilla extract and add them to the butter mixture. Mix melted chocolate onto the entire mixture, blend well before adding flour (with the baking soda)

Roll the dough flat about 1/4" and cut them into flower shapes.  Place them onto floured pan. Then, bake them for 10 min at 350 F. (This timer is apply for a bigger oven, smaller oven may bake quicker)


You can decorate the flower with piping bag but since I have tonnes of cream cheese left, I sandwiched them together and make them my own double cream flower cookies.. verdict please, I passed my husband critical judgment.

  2. Memang senang, campur cam semua ingredient dalam mixer. Wangi ni cookies and sedap.. sekejap ja abis.
